European Personal Branding for Employment (EPBE) is a project funded under the call Cooperation for innovation and the exchange of good practices – Strategic Partnerships for higher education (expedient number: 2015‐1‐ES01‐KA203‐016058).
It’s main and specific objectives are aligned with the priorities as through the creation of awareness among students and trainers on the possibility of acquiring ICT skills in order to teach and study techniques related to job hunting and personal branding within Internet. The project has contributed to the “development basic and transversal skills using innovative methods” with two specific contributions (project’ outputs): (I) Quality Guidelines for Personal Brand Production and Job Hunting 4.0. (II) Handbook on Methodological and Pedagogical Approaches in Distance Learning for on-line personal branding and job hunting.
Additionally, in connection with the priority “supporting the implementation of the 2013 Communication on Opening Up Education “, EPBE has ued Open Educational Resources (OER) in order to build up an on-line personal brand and using effectively job hunting 4.0 techniques. In particular, supporting teachers, trainers, and youth students and supporting digital integration in learning to reach audiences.
The project contributions were the following outputs and training activities:
Toolkit of reusable MOOCS didactical contents for trainers.
I Training Activity: Use of ICT for training Personal Branding and Job Hunting 2.0- as new forms of personalized learning and a strategic use of open educational resources.
II Training activity: Methodologies in distance and blended learning.
The European Personal Branding for Employment (EPBE) project main aim was to encourage employment among young students through the acquisition of digital skills using innovative and learner-centred pedagogical approaches and enhancing digital integration in learning, teaching, training and youth work at various levels: promoting access to and learning through Open Educational Resources (OER) in order to build up an on-line personal brand and using effectively job hunting 4.0 techniques. In particular, supporting teachers, trainers, and youth students and supporting digital integration in learning to reach audiences promoting effective job search, access to the labor market and the acquisition of a series of digital skills they can use throughout their careers.
·To create awareness among students and trainers on the possibility of acquiring ICT skills in order to teach and study techniques related to job hunting and personal branding within Internet.
·To create a multidisciplinary, real life problem-based educational curriculum for trainers and students, involving different educational sectors; identifying training needs and transversal skills required for developing and online life log learning strategy based on personal branding and job hunting.
·To share educational content related to personal branding and job hunting (Train the Trainers courses and MOOCs) for learning and teaching using OERs; supporting the implementation of the 2013 Communication on Opening Up Education through the promotion and development of new modes of delivery, in particular through new forms of personalized learning, strategic use of open educational resources.
·To contribute to the necessary reforms related to the 2011 EU Modernisation Agenda enhancing lifelong learning via the creation of flexible learning paths, developing ways to increase the rate of employability.
In addition, the implementation of this project with transnational partners looked for the promotion of results locally from an European perspective.
Through the project EPBE the following results were reached:
1. Increased use of ICT-based learning in VET, HE and adult education.
3. Enhanced teaching approaches towards ICT-use in training.
4. Competence to develop open e-learning material.
5. Competence to work professionally in e-learning and blended learning settings in order to accompany the student’s learning process.

– addressing on-line personal branding and job seeking techniques in practice development and professionals in this area
1. creation of high quality curricula in on-line personal branding together with the e-marketing area 2. creation of open, flexible and easily adaptable online learning courses in on-line personal branding and job seeking
3. aligning these curricula with European transparency instruments (ECVET)
4. implementing the training courses with 60 learners
5. validation of these learning processes using open badges

The project has produced this website where all products and results are published, as well as a series of webinars that promotes the use of ICT based learning and the OER in on-line personal branding and job seeking and a final dissemination conference with online and offline participation possibilities.
